Complete Sanitation LLC was founded in February 2007 by co-owners Patrick and Shawn McDowell with the goal of providing waste and recycling services with a concentration on great service.

Since February 2007 we have created and maintain 16 careers in Plano averaging over $58,000 per year, all of which are filled by local individuals from the areas we service

Prior to forming Complete Sanitation, Patrick McDowell served the Fox Valley area for 34+ years with a nationwide garbage company. From humble beginnings as a helper on a garbage truck to a senior operations manager in charge of 7 hauling companies, his focus and dedication of providing the best possible service has created a well-rounded approach to handling all aspects of the business. Pat's focus is to execute our maintenance and safety programs as well as to work with local municipalities and Chamber's to consistently expand our market share in the communities we service.

Shawn McDowell also started in the business on the back of a truck as a young man throughout high school and college. After graduating from Augustana College he held an outside sales position with two independent hauling companies in the Chicagoland area prior to forming Complete Sanitation. Shawn handles the Sales and Financials as well as the day to day business operations.

Together the father and son team have more than fifty years of experience in providing waste and recycling service in your area.

Tom Klatt joined Complete Sanitation in August of 2009 as an equity investor, and has been instrumental in providing parking, storage, and office space for the fast-growing business.

Residential, Commercial & Industrial

Complete Sanitation currently provides residential waste and recycling service to over 9,000 residential accounts and over 750 commercial and industrial accounts.
